What this template is for
A star-shaped box with any number of points. Christmas decorations, party favours, award and gift boxes.
- Christmas decorations and tree boxes
- Party favours and gift boxes
- Award and trophy presentation boxes
- Window and shop displays
How to build it
- Type the size you need above, in millimetres, centimetres or inches.
- Download the PDF and print it at 100% — never “fit to page”.
- Cut every solid line and score every dashed line.
- The wall has a fold line at every point of the star — crease them all before you start. Points fold one way, the notches between them fold the other.
Questions about the star box
- How do I change how spiky the star is?
- The point sharpness setting is how far in the notches cut between the points. Lower numbers give long thin spikes, higher numbers give a fat, chunky star.
- Which way do the wall folds go?
- They alternate. The folds at the tips of the star fold one way and the folds at the notches between them fold the other. Crease every line before you assemble anything.
- Why is the wall one long strip instead of separate walls?
- A single strip has one glued seam instead of one per point. On a ten-edged star that is the difference between one join and ten.
Print your own design on it
Every template here takes your artwork. Add a picture in the panel on the left — a logo, a photo, a pattern — drag it where you want it on the star box, and it prints with the template. It is trimmed to the cut outline automatically, so nothing spills over the edge, and it goes into the PDF as a properly embedded image.
No other free box template site will do that, and your picture never leaves your computer — there is no server here to send it to.
