BoxTemplate

Licence

What you may do with a template you make here. Short answer: anything, including sell it.

The short version

The templates you make here are yours. Print them, sell them, sell what you make with them, give the files away, put them in a product you charge for. You do not have to credit BoxTemplate and you do not have to ask.

In full

What this does not cover

The site itself — its code, its text, its drawings and the BoxTemplate name — is not covered by any of the above. The licence is about the templates you generate, not about copying the tool that generates them.

It also cannot cover artwork you add. A picture you drop onto a template stays yours, or stays whoever's it was — this site never sees it and makes no claim on it.

No warranty, and one piece of advice

The templates are given as they are, with no guarantee. The geometry is checked, but card thickness, printer scaling and cutting tolerance are all yours. Before a production run, print one and fold it. A test box costs a sheet of paper; a wrong die costs considerably more.

Questions

Can I sell boxes made with these templates on Etsy?
Yes. Both the boxes and the template files.
Do I need to buy anything for commercial use?
No. There is no paid tier and no commercial licence to buy.
Can I use these for a client's packaging?
Yes, and you can charge the client for the work.
Do I have to leave the credit line on?
No. Untick it in the Page panel.
