The coffee cup sleeve template, flat and folded
What this template is for
The band that wraps a takeaway cup so it is not too hot to hold. Type the cup's rim and base widths and its height; the sleeve comes out curved to fit that cup exactly. Cafés, coffee carts, events and branded cups.
Also called coffee sleeve · cup jacket · cup holder sleeve · coffee cup wrap — all the same shape, and this is it.

Printing it
- Type your size above, then download the PDF.
- Print at 100% — never “fit to page”, or every measurement comes out wrong.
- Too big for the paper? Pick your paper size and leave Fit the pieces to the page ticked: each piece gets its own place on a sheet and the PDF comes out with every page in it, nothing cut in half and nothing to tape.
How to put it together
These pictures are the coffee cup sleeve itself, not a generic diagram — change the measurements above and the template changes, but the three steps never do.
-
Cut the solid lines
Every solid line is a cut. Do the inside shapes first, while the sheet is still whole and easy to hold.
-
Score every dashed line
Dashed lines are folds. Score each one first — an empty ballpoint against a ruler — or the card cracks along the outside of the bend.
-
Fold, glue and hold
Cut the sleeve out. Wrap it round the cup at the height it is drawn for, and glue the overlap marked glue under the other end. Slide it off and on again as needed.
Glue: a glue stick for paper, white PVA on card — hold each seam thirty seconds, and let the box dry standing up.
Questions about the coffee cup sleeve
- Why is it curved?
- A takeaway cup is a cone, wider at the top. A band that fits a cone flat lies as part of a ring; the tool works out the ring from the cup you type, so the sleeve sits snug all round.
- How do I measure my cup?
- Measure across the rim, across the base and the height. The tool works out the cup’s width where the top and bottom of the sleeve sit.
- Will it print on one sheet?
- Yes for a regular 8–12 oz cup: the 80 mm rim, 56 mm base, 95 mm tall cup it opens with takes a 45 mm sleeve that fits one A4 or US Letter sheet turned sideways. Bigger cups need a bigger sheet.
Print your own design on it
Add a logo, photo or pattern in the panel on the left and drag it onto the coffee cup sleeve. It is trimmed to the cut outline, embedded properly in the PDF, and never leaves your computer — most free template sites hand you the outline and stop there. How printing your own design works.
