What this template is for
Any box from a triangle to a twelve-sided one. Set the lid height to zero for an open tub, or give it a height for a hat-box style lid.

How to build it
- Type the size you need above, in millimetres, centimetres or inches.
- Download the PDF and print it at 100% — never “fit to page”.
- Cut every solid line and score every dashed line.
- Roll the wall strip up and glue the end tab inside the first panel. Fold the bottom flaps in and glue them to one another, then glue the base disc on top of them.
Questions about the polygonal box
- How do I make a hexagonal box?
- Set the number of sides to six and the side length to the length of one edge of the hexagon. For a hexagon, the width across opposite corners is twice the side length.
- How does the bottom close?
- Each wall panel has a flap. Fold them all inwards, glue them to one another, then glue the base disc on top for a clean finish.
- How do I get a box with no lid?
- Set the lid height to zero and you get the wall strip and base only.
